Bio
Davey Lawlor was born in Belfast, Ireland and grew up in Brampton, Ontario. He started as a full time musician in the local pubs at the age of 19 and recorded his first album in 1996 in Toronto. Davey joined Alan Frew of Glass Tiger with rhythm guitar and backing vocals and toured Alan’s solo album ”Wonderland" in 2000. In 2001, he toured through Germany with Alan Frew performing at the World Hockey Championships.
Davey was fortunate to be a co-writer on the new track "Wae Yer Family" that is featured on the new Glass Tiger 31 album. Through the years, Davey has shared the stage with artists like Glass Tiger, Burton Cummings, Randy Bachman, The Tragically Hip, Blue Rodeo and many more. Davey Lawlor is set to complete a new solo album that will have single releases throughout the year. It is co-written with Johnny Reid and Alan Frew.
